The path here
Writing means holding
the pace to the end.
I was born in Namur in 1970 and grew up in Couvin. Today I live in Sombreffe with my wife Geneviève. Together we raised two sons, Thibaud and Martin. We often slip away to the Aosta Valley, a permanent source of inspiration.
A heavy smoker for years, I came to sport late. At 45 I finished the Nice Ironman, then did it again in Cervia two years later. You don't come out of that unchanged: you learn patience, self-denial, and the simple idea that an enormous undertaking resolves itself one kilometre at a time. That is exactly how I write.
I publish entirely independently. No big house behind me: loyal booksellers, readers who pass the word along, and the pleasure of keeping my hands on every book, from the first sentence to the dedication.
