When you order: your name and your e-mail address. That is all. No postal address is asked for, because you choose your own pickup point with Mondial Relay. If you ask for a dedication, the name to write in it is kept as well.

Through the contact form: your name, your e-mail address, the subject you pick and the content of your message.

Nothing is collected without your knowledge: this site has no user accounts, no profiling and no automatic recording of your browsing.

Payment is handled by Mollie B.V., a licensed payment provider in the Netherlands. You are taken to their secure page to pay.

Your card number, your code and your banking credentials never pass through this site and are never stored on it. All this site receives from Mollie is confirmation that the payment succeeded or failed, and the amount.

Processing and shipping your order, and keeping you informed about it: performance of the contract.

Replying to a message sent through the contact form: your consent, or pre-contractual steps taken at your request.

Keeping the accounting records for sales: legal obligation.

Subscribing takes two steps: you leave your address, then you click the confirmation link in the e-mail. Without that second click you are not subscribed and nothing is sent to you.

What is kept: your e-mail address, the language you chose, the date of your consent and the exact wording you consented to. Together these are the proof of consent the GDPR requires.

Legal basis: your consent. You can withdraw it at any time, in one click, using the link in every issue. No account and no password are needed, neither to join nor to leave.

Your address is never added to the newsletter because you ordered a book. The two are separate purposes and each asks for your agreement.

After you unsubscribe, only the record of the unsubscription is kept, so that it can be shown to have been honoured.

Amazon Web Services (Amazon SES, Frankfurt region), to send the order confirmation e-mails and the newsletter.

The site's host: AWS Amplify (Amazon Web Services), on servers in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany, eu-central-1).

Your data is never sold, rented or passed on for advertising. There are no other recipients.

Order data is kept for as long as the order is being fulfilled, and then for the period required by Belgian accounting and tax obligations.

Messages sent through the contact form are kept for at most two years, then deleted.

This site sets no advertising cookies, no audience measurement and no third party trackers. There is therefore no consent banner to show, because there is nothing to consent to.

The payment provider may set its own cookies on its payment page, which falls under its own privacy policy.

You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data, and the right to data portability.

To exercise them, write to olimoreaux@gmail.com. You will get an answer within one month.
